New Year Life Update! Resolutions and Goals!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!

It’s 2016 now so goodbye 2015! Thank you for such wonderful memories!! Now please go and join 2014!! 😀

With every New Year, comes new goals and resolutions, which most of us abandon by the end of first week of January! 😛 I did that every year! How many of you did the same? 😛

2015 brought some wonderful things for me. I opened up this blog in April and reached my first 1000 by November. I know compared to those bloggers out there with millions of followers it’s just peanuts but hey! Everyone had started one day with 1000 incredible subscribers, right? 🙂

Also in 2015, I finished my school years and started college! That was a big moment of excitement for me. I eagerly waited for my college years and now that they have arrived, I miss my high school years! Don’t we all? 😀 I changed my room’s appearance and made it look more mature, you know by spreading my make-up everywhere! 😀 (Tee-Hee-Hee!)

On Christmas day, my sister left for America to start her University. It happened really quickly. She got her visa and in 2 weeks time, she was gone. On Christmas day! 😛 I miss her. We talk regularly though. Strange, it hasn’t really sunk in yet, that she is gone. I guess that is natural!

I was very excited to start my college life in another city but I couldn’t leave home as I realised that I wanted to stay with my mother a little longer. I grew extremely attached to her during my home schooling period and the thought of leaving her so suddenly seemed wrong as she too seemed very sad and broken about the idea. Instead, I decided to study in correspondence, just like home schooling and on side I took graphic designing courses. Planning to start language classes/courses soon.

So for me, my goals and resolutions for New Year are pretty simple!

Ø  Start exploring various options to broaden your horizon.

Ø  Try out every new thing.

Ø  Be more active!

Ø  Eat healthier! (I ate way too many chips in 2015! Why do they have to be so crunchy and yummy? 😦 )

Ø  Be more organized and efficient! (Already started there! You should see my room! Cleaner than ever!)

Ø  Control shopping urges!

Ø  Save as much as possible!

Ø  Be informed at all times!

Ø  Start language courses!

Ø  Pass my first year college exam with flying colours!

Ø  Same for my graphic designing!

Ø  Work on my drawing!

Ø  Enjoy nature!

Ø  Be kind to the poor, old people and the dogs and puppies on the road.

Ø  Lastly, Start the new blog.

Now regarding my blog, I know I told you guys I would start it in 2016 but alas, I cannot. Trust me, no one is more annoyed than I am. Everything was ready but my parents object. With sister gone, the whole blog will be mine and I was taking the pressure too light heartedly. My parents say that I am rushing things too much. I need to focus on my 1st major college exam which is just a few months away.

I agree with them because I have way too many subjects. Since I was going to be studying from home, I decided to take on various subjects to diversify my options in future. I haven’t started studying yet and it has been worrying my parents and me. I obviously am not abandoning the idea! Hell no! I am way to deep in it and there is nothing I want to do more than blog. I will be posting here regularly no doubt so no worries you guys still have to put up with me! 😀 (Tee-Hee-Hee)

Also I opened my Instagram account a week or two before! You can catch me there as well!! 🙂

November Favourites! (2015)

Happy December! 😀

It is that time of the year again when we look back and remember all the crazy things we did in the past months! 🙂

December is already here and before you know it, we will be saying goodbye to 2015 and will be welcoming 2016 with huge grins! 🙂

November for me has been full of delight and entertainment! I have enjoyed each and every day of it and I am sorry to see it pass so quickly!

I have been very productive this month and have been working hard on my studies and on the new blog which I plan on starting before the New Year or maybe on New Year, I do not know yet! I want it to be special!! 🙂

I am not an angel! Not one bit! I have been torturing my sister and my mother with lots of pranks and mischief and I am very sure that they are not afraid of the Boogeyman anymore! 😛
There is something about winter months that make me want to pull various kinds of pranks and I almost (ALMOST) feel sorry for my two lovely ladies! 😛

But I am sure you do not want me to ramble on and on about it anymore! Let’s talk about the things I loved using in November! 🙂

For my hair, I have been using John Frieda Frizz Ease Curl Reviver Mousse on damp hair and I saw that my frizzy hair was a lot more managable then! So, yeah! I loved it! Used it almost everyday! I have 3 bottles of that, I think! Maybe 4?

The next product will confirm that I am obsessed with Bath and Body Works! I think in most of my Favourites posts, I have one lotion from B&BW in it! I can’t help how wonderful they are and I am sure many of you will agree with me! So I have been using Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path body lotion and more than half of it is gone!!

I have also been loving Colorbar Full Cover Make-Up Stick Concealer which I bought earlier this month and I have loved using it! If any of would like a detailed review on this product, let me know down in the comment section! 🙂

Maybelline Cheeky Glow Blush in Peachy Sweetie is another favourite! It provided such a lovely natural hue to cheeks! Been using it a lot!! 🙂

For my eyes, I have enjoyed using Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eyepencils in the shades Smoke and Sabbath. Super pigmented and long lasting! Did not have to worry about touch-ups!! 🙂

Throughout November, I have been applying various coloured nailpolishes and the ones that stood out most for me are:
Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy – In The Money 220
Jenna Hipp Nailpolishes in the shades Hollywood Reporter,After Party and Better Slate Than Never

The Jenna Hipp ones are chunky glitter ones in silver and rust respectively and the other one is an ashy colour with purple undertones in it while the Revlon one is an absolute favourite of mine right now. It is such a beautiful colour! I wanted to show you guys.

I wore my Maybelline Glitter Mania Nailpolish in the shade Bling on the Blue on my ring finger along with it and I think the added bonus of glitter makes it even more attractive! 🙂 It is a light green neon colour which is bright and pretty! I bought it a few days ago and have been wearing it since! 🙂

The next 2 things are stationery items. I had heard a few of friends talk about how you should be carrying sensible looking notebooks and diaries in college and not the colourful graphic ones like the ones we used back in school. I guess I didn’t grow up and mature like them! 😛 I still love using graphic notebooks and when I saw this one, I had to buy it!

I bought several of them in different colours and I love writing in them! Go Graphic Notebooks!!
I don’t know why but I love pencils which have erasers stuck on the top. I LOVE THEM!! I use them all the time and I bought another packet of them! How random of me! I can picture your expressions right now! 😀

The Heir Of Slytherin Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Claire stood with Ava in front of the Potions classroom along with the whole of fifth year Gryffindor and Slytherin students who were all engaged in random conversation when she saw the potion’s professor Horace Slughorn coming towards with his usual goofy good-natured smile. “Hallo! It is so lovely to see all of your tanned energetic faces again!” he said and ushered them all into the huge potions classroom. Slughorn then took his place behind the teachers table and faced everyone. “I hope you had a nice break! Now this is a new school year which means new books, new lessons and new potions to brew!” he said and gave a small laugh and clapped his hand.

“Before we start with today’s lessons, how about you tell us how you spent your holidays, eh?” he asked. “Mr Malfoy, would you like to share?”

Abraxas Malfoy had long white hair which was secured at the nape of his neck. He was tall and lanky with a proud and over-confident face and had an obnoxious smirk. He stood up and dug his hands into his pockets, “Well, my family and I went to Germany this year and I helped my father with his business. I know I did a wonderful job because we raised a lot of galleons… I thought we should give some…you know as charity to those poor unfortunate ones,” he said glancing at Merry and Jerry Weasley from Gryffindor, “Since we already have so much but my father invested it a mansion in London and I spent a lot of my time there.” He finished and gave his signature obnoxious smirk.

“Well, uh… How wonderful, Mr Malfoy. Congratulations! Who else… Let see… Miss Noire? Would you like to share?” Slughorn asked.

Claire was whispering with her friends in a corner and jumped up when the potions professor called her. Hesitantly, she stood up while brushing her hair out of her eyes and faced ahead.

“Err… Let’s see… I spent my time helping my sister prepare for her 1^styear in Hogwarts, sir. She started this year, you see,” she said while fidgeting with her fingers, “Then Ava and I did a lot of research on the Tri-Wizard Tournament and we just…had fun, I suppose.” Claire said.

All eyes were now on her and Claire felt mortified. “The Tri-Wizard Tournament? Are you planning on entering, my dear?” Slughorn asked with his usual friendly smile.

Clairenodded enthusiastically, “But of course sir! Ava and I both want to enter! We had been planning for this for many years now!” she replied while Ava who sat beside her agreed.

“How wonderful it is to see girls as brave as yourselves, take part in these tournaments! Wonderful, simply wonderful! Good luck, my dears!” Slughorn said while looking around for the next candidate. The students from Slytherin started throwing venomous glares at the Gryffindor pair and started mumbling and sniggering.

The potions class had been uneventful as Slughorn refused to start complex potions just yet so the students were just taking down notes.

As class ended and students began to pour out of the classroom, Olive Hornby and her gang of ‘Giggling Grasshoppers’ crowded around Claire and Ava.

“Want to enter the Tri-Wizard eh, Noire? Ohh I have been preparing for a long time for this, sir!” Olive said imitating Claire’s voice.

“Wow, don’t try to imitate my voice, Hornby I don’t sound like a strangled female cricket like yourself.” Claire said with a smirk while Ava chuckled beside her.

“Now ladies, what is this cat-fight about?” Abraxas who had just arrived, wrapped an arm around Olive’s shoulder and asked while Claire and Ava rolled their eyes.

“So Noire… How is your Tournament preparation going so far?” he asked smirking and winking at Claire who made a gagging motion.

“Your company of evil ditched you or something, Malfoy?” Ava asked and Abraxas glared at her.

“Oh I know how much you miss and love us, Bailey! Don’t worry your little heart, turn around!” he cooed.

Ava and Claire turned in an instant and saw that Tom Riddle, Alphard Black, Cygnus Black and Rodolphus Lestrangemaking their way towards them.

“Goodness the company of evil approaches…” Ava grumbled.

“Evil? That just shows how soft you are in your head, Bailey!” Olive sneered, “They are our school idols! Tom being on top!” she said and her expression changed to a sugar coated smile as the boys halted beside them.

“Entering the Tri-wizard, Claire? How can you torture me so much, my dear! I shall have to jump in front of death for you when I see you cornered.” Alphard Black said turned her face to look at her.

“Really? Then be sure to jump and rid me of you!” Claire snapped and shoved away his hand away which was rested on her chin while he laughed.

“Tom!” Olive cried in an extremely shrill voice and latched herself on his arms, “Sit with me during lunch!” she said batting her eyelashes.

“It will be a pleasure to have your company during lunch, Miss Hornby.” Tom said and gave her his fake smile. He desperately wanted to shove her off him but he controlled himself. Beside him Claire snorted and he immediately snapped his head in her direction and starred at her coldly.

“I am surprise you are not deaf yet, Tom!” She said and smirked haughtily. “You will surely need hearing-aids when this year ends.”

Tom looked at her for a moment then gave her his usual fake sugary smile which made girls melt like ice, “Then be thankful that it is not you, Miss Noire who has to bear such misfortune.” He said. “Are you going deaf, Tom?” Olive asked, stunned completely unaware of what they had been talking about.

Tom seemed to hold back an irritated sigh as he turned to the annoying girl beside her, “Why not at all, Miss Hornby! Whatever gave you such an idea?” he asked through a tight smile.

“Well, if you ever face any problems, you will tell me, yes? Don’t go on talking to these Gryffindor misfits!” Olive said throwing a scowl towards Claire. “Don’t tell me you have been hanging round them!? Or has this girl been hanging around you?” she asked.

Before Tom could reply, Claire gave a high pitched laugh, “As if! Look Hornby,” she said, jabbing a finger on Olive’s chest, “Just because you are obsessed with Tom Goody-two-shoes-Riddle here, don’t assume we all are!” she half-yelled. “Tom Riddle,” she said glancing towards him, “Is the most ruthless, obnoxious, cunning, two-timing, two-faced, twisted person I have ever met in my entire life and I will rather die than be associated with him!” Claire finished yelling, turned and walked away from the group of people who started at her wide-eyed and absolutely stunned.

Tom’s eyes followed Claire’s retreating back his eyes dark filled with anger and hate.

Hey guys! Really, really, really sorry for such a delay! i am so ashamed of myself for what I did! I swear I will try to be as punctual as possible! For now please forgive me!
