The Body Shop Hand Creams Review

Whenever I am walking past a Body Shop outlet, all my senses are on high alert and my steps are exceptionally slow. I don’t know whether it’s the amazing packaging or the divine fragrances that pull me towards them but I definitely check out The Body Shop products like a person who left her studies to the last minute before exam and now has to hungrily devour all the information in one go! Just kidding! 😛
On a serious note though, The Body Shop is one of my favourite brands and I always seem to pick up one thing or the other be it just a small lipstick or a lip balm! So a few days ago, I went shopping with my mum and I insisted on stopping at the Body Shop outlet and I bought quite a few things from there.
I had never bought a hand cream before because I didn’t think I required one as I just simply used the regular body butters or lotions to moisturize my hand. But I wanted to buy for my mum and the packaging was so adorable, I picked out a couple of them.
So I thought I would review those for you and if you’d like to know my opinions on them then please keep on reading! 

PACKAGING:
The Body Shop hand creams come in small 30ml tubes with a black screw on cap at the bottom. The packaging was super cute and the vibrant colours on them made them look so pretty! I go weak in the knees when I see products with cute packaging and I immediately know that I will be purchasing them. The caps are very tightly screwed on and I had a really hard time unscrewing them, I ever hurt my hand and it was all red. I thought I might have to return it but I guess the cap sensed it and immediately unscrewed on my last try! These little tubes are very handy and travel friendly. You can just slip them inside your handbags and carry them anywhere you like. They hardly take up any room and are also very light weight.

TEXTURE:
The cream is very light and water based which allows it to get quickly absorbed into the skin. In just a few seconds the cream vanishes into the skin and it doesn’t make it feel or look greasy or sticky. I absolutely hate having my hands greasy or sticky which is also why I steered clear from moisturizing my hands for a long time a few years ago. Since it is a water based cream, a little amount goes a long way. Only a dime size amount of the product is required to fully moisturize my hand.

RESULTS:
I have been applying this hand cream for a week or so now and I just love how it makes my hands feel cool and hydrated every time I apply it. My favourite part is the fragrance that lingers on my hands. I keep on smelling my hands because of the delicious fragrances. I apply them before going to bed and I can see that my hands look a lot hydrated and soft in the mornings. These are not VERY moisturizing so if you have very dry hands; these might not work for you as it is very light and not very condensed. It is perfect for the summer time as it’s not heavy and the fragrance adds a splash of freshness on the hands.
FRAGRANCES:
Frosted Cranberry: This is by far my favourite as I love cranberries! The fragrance is very sweet and tangy at the same time. To me it also smells a lot like cotton candy. I somehow can also smell sugar in it. Even though it may be faint but I do smell sugar! However as the name clearly states “Cranberry”, it has high notes of sweet and tangy cranberry. As the smell starts to diffuse, it starts to become much sweeter and the tanginess fades away. On a side note, the cream has a baby pinkish white colour in it!
Moringa: Did you know that Moringa flowers are often used to make tea? The flower brews in hot water for a few minutes to give a very distinctive flavour brew. It is considered to have very powerful medicinal properties and high nutritional benefits. I have personally never seen or smelled this pretty flower which is why I cannot say if this cream smells like one but the fragrance is absolutely incredible. It is very floral and very, very sweet. I bought this for my mum and she loves it! The cream has a light yellow-green white colour.
Glazed Apple: If you don’t like them too be too fruity or floral, you can check this one out. This hand cream smells like green apples with hints of flowers in it. As the fragrance diffuses, it still doesn’t become too sweet and bears the fragrance of apples. I feel like this one is a very festive fragrance and will smell incredible during Christmas time or simply during the spring or winter season. It has a pale green and white colour in it.

PRICE in India: INR 495 for Glazed Apple and Frosted Cranberry. INR 350 for Moringa. I think the prices are a bit extravagant considering the amount but these last for a long time. I am not a massive fan of the price though.
Will I repurchase? I will definitely repurchase Moringa and Cranberry.

I hope you liked this review! Do let me know your thought and opinions on these products if you have used them. Also, if you are a TBS fan like myself, let me which are your favourite beauty products from there!
Just a little something to all of you out there who might have been wondering why I haven’t been uploading any posts, I really like to work on my blog but over the past few months, I have been noticing that my posts are not visible under the tags I usually put them which resulted in low traffic in my blog. It is still persisting and it made me very disheartened and feel like you guys didn’t like my posts anymore. Which is why I ran away. I am very sorry if you guys felt annoyed about it. As you know I wish to become a professional blogger and plan on taking my Styles and Sensibilities to a whole new level, I decided that quitting now would be very wrong and that I would always regret it and question “What if…” all the time. Which is why I am planning on working on it. I am going to schedule days on which I will upload posts so that you guys will know when my next post is coming up. I just need a little more time to figure out which days work the best for me. To be very honest with you guys, I sat down and opened my blog today after 2 months or so and decided enough was enough. No running away. So I guess this post is like my come back post. Since I started back today, I will need some time to figure out what days work the best and plan out several articles.
The fact that my posts are not showing under tags still persists and I have no idea why. I tried to repair it but it is still not working. Hopefully it gets better soon and more people visit my blog. 
Lastly, a very BIG THANK YOU to all of you who are sticking by my blog and taking time to read it. I really appreciate it and will do my best to make it worth your while! 
Have a wonderful day ahead!
